In June, 2017, I participated in one of Rising Star’s week long broadway intensive camps. It was such a lovely experience and I thoroughly enjoyed dipping my toes in the wonderful pool of theater! I had always dreamed of being part of a musical production from a very young age, and I must say, my five year old self would have been more than happy to know that I would take part in something like Rising Stars. I would strongly recommend being a part of one of these camps for kids of all ages, not only because it was an incredibly good time, but for the participation in a close-knit team of people. The first day you might not know a soul you are working with, but at the end of the week that will not be the case! The theater experience is alive with Rising Stars, along with friendship and team-building!

Rising Stars was such an amazing experience for my daughter! She loved every aspect of the program and can’t wait to do it again. This camp far exceeded our expectations and it was incredible how much the kids were able to learn in such a short amount of time. I loved the musical revue aspect of the program as my daughter was introduced to several great musicals in one week. I highly recommend this camp! If your child doesn’t already have the theater bug, they will once they attend Rising Stars Musical Theater Camp.

I loved Rising Stars. It’s one of the best theater summer camps I ever participated in. I had a great time every single day. The staff were friendly and awesome, the songs were fabulous, the choreography was fun to dance, and I made lots of new friends. Everyone got to know each other really well, and all of the campers would do practically anything for each other by the last day of camp. As a bonus, I even got to develop my vocal technique and my acting skills. It was an amazing experience that I would definitely repeat if I had the chance.

I have participated in multiple Rising Stars camps and workshops, and each time I felt as though I had learned something new. During these camps and workshops I loved being challenged by learning new songs, and being taught by the exceptional faculty. I felt as though I grew as a performer with each workshop, and I was able to step outside of my comfort zone especially when it came to acting. When I first participated with Rising Stars I had little acting experience but I learned how fun acting could be and I was given the confidence to pursue that passion. The faculty are extremely well educated and trained performers who are looking to share their knowledge. I would really recommend this camp as it helped me grow as a performer and build relationships with faculty members who I admire greatly.
It was very enjoyable and fun. It was a great experience to meet new people and learn about performing. It was a great opportunity to be a part of the camp! I would definitely recommend this to other people.
Rising Stars gives students the opportunity to experience musical theatre at the level of training that is right for them. The program is designed to give any age and level of ability the chance to hone their skills and develop new ones while making friends and enjoying the fun of putting together a show in five days. The extremely talented staff works tirelessly to give each individual camper the chance to shine onstage with confidence in their own talent. Rising Stars is a place for kids to make friends, sing, act, dance, and create something that they are proud of.

My experience with Rising Stars Camp was wonderful! It was very fun and I learned a lot. Both the staff and the other campers were extremely nice and supportive. The songs and dances were interesting and exciting to learn. I especially loved how it all came together in a great show at the end of camp! I’m looking forward to going again this summer!
